glorious man utd

Congratulations to Manchester United. We are off to Rome to defend our Champions League title. If we win in Rome on the 27 may, we would be the first team to win consecutive Champions League title.

Man Utd won Arsenal 3-1 at The Emirates. The Overall aggregate is 4-1.

Ronaldo was superb. The whole team was well organised, determined and they played attacking football all the way. I loved the 3rd goal. It was a fast paced counter attack by the Park, Ronaldo and Rooney combination.

Arsenal was outplayed amd outsmarted by the Man Utd in all areas. I know my father and brothers were very frustrated/disappointed. It’s all part of the game.

By the way, Fletcher got sent off and Van Persie made it 1-3 by scoring the penalty. In the end, Man Utd won the match and so we are off to the FINALS IN ROME. We will be either facing BARCALONA OR CHELSEA. Last season, Man Utd won Chelsea in the Finals and Barcalona in the Semi-finals. Anyway, whoever the opponent is, I am pretty confident that Man Utd can handle it. Anyway, today I was late for school by 34 mins. I overslept.

I watched the match and it ended around 4:40am. I was supposed to wake up at 6:30 am because today we did not have CAH and so school only starts at 9am. Unfortunately, I woke up at 8 am and realised that I would be late if I took the MRT. So I had to take the taxi as I didn’t want to miss OA (it will be difficult to keep track of the lessons).

The PIE was loaded with cars and the traffic was moving slowly. Worst part, the peak hour period meter was running and I was worried that I had to pay more than what I had. I have used up my pocket money and the money that I was saving (to buy the new school white polo T), for the taxi fare. Initially, the taxi driver told me that the traffic in PIE would be smooth and then later, he took me around Bishan and through countless traffic lights.

If only I knew the Singapore map like at the back of my head, I would have proven him wrong and got my money back.

Looking at the brighter side of things, at least I made it to school. If it was the old me, I would have decided to skip school for the day.
