Man United lost the Champions League final to Barcelona. It feels sad, painful and disappointing. They made it all the way to the finals and to lose at the grand stage is surely DISAPPOINTING.

They won it last year. This year, again the better team won. Unfortunately, this time round the better team is the opposition. To be honest, Barcelona was superb in all areas. They really made Man Utd to work hard. Van Der Sar is my MOTM. If not for him, it could have been 3 or 4.

Anyway, Man Utd did have their chances but they couldn’t capitalise on them. And as said, Barcelona are the deserving champions. No complains there.

Looking at the brighter side, I am proud of Man Utd’s achievements this season.

They are the English Premier League Champions, Carling Cup Winners and World Club champions. I know that this Champs league finals would have been a extra bonus for them, since they would be the 1st team to win back to back titles.

But its okay,there is the next season. They will come back stronger.
